About Epik

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a passion for making stuff. Drawings, stories, treasure maps, tree forts – you name it. If it involved creating, I was into it. I don’t get as many opportunities to build forts these days, but I’ve channelled those creative juices into something I’m even more passionate about: design.

My background in a nutshell

In 2006 I received a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication Design from the University of Alberta. After working for several years in the design field (at a small design and print studio, then a greeting card and gift bag company, and later as an in-house designer for Joey Restaurants), I decided it was time to strike out on my own.

Epik Creative is born

I started Epik Creative in the spring of 2009 and have never looked back. The ability to manage my own projects and work directly with clients has been hugely rewarding, and I’ve found another passion in the world of web design (I think it’s the perfect melding of my artistic side with my nerdy side).

Small studio, Epik results

Epik is growing quickly, and I now work full time with a wide spectrum of clients, from large corporations to start-ups to non-profits. We specialize in print design, web design and branding, and aim for results that really stand out from crowd. My goal is to provide top notch design, great availability, and quick communication for all clients – no matter how big or small the project.
